Enriching Community Health Outreach

Our mission is to achieve health equity for underserved populations in the Los Angeles area through service in our four pillars: houselessness, youth education, food insecurity, and mental health. We seek to holistically improve community health through uplifting quality of life and bridging the gap in health care access.

Our Programs

Internship offers members the opportunity to develop leadership and professional skills while shadowing board activities.

My Health Matters (MHM) is an event hosted by ECHO and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) WLA to help destigmatize mental health and provide resources to students.

We hope to uplift underserved communities LA county area through holistically addressing a multitude of issues that stem from lack of access to resources.

Through collaborations with other service organizations, our events have targeted these four cause areas:

In Los Angeles County 50 to 60 thousand people sleep without shelter each night …

Over 200,000 youth live below the poverty level…

An estimated 1.4 million people in Los Angeles County live with food insecurity…

Approx. 1 in 4 American adults suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year…

We founded ECHO to use our voices to bridge the gap in healthcare inequity.
